Esterline CMC Electronics’ SureSight CMA-2600 I-Series Integrated Sensor System has been FAA approved for use as an Enhanced Flight Vision System (EFVS) on the Dassault Falcon 7X, the company said Tuesday.

The one line replaceable unit (LRU) CMA-2600 system weighs less than 20 pounds, operates in a temperature range of -55° C to + 50° C and offers a 30-degree field of view.

“These certifications confirm the innovative technology and winning combination of capability, availability and performance of our SureSight CMA-2600 I-Series Sensor System. These approvals are the culmination of an exhaustive development program lead by Dassault, teaming CMC’s product with Rockwell Collins Head-up Guidance Systems’ Head-up Display technology," said Greg Yeldon, president, Esterline CMC Electronics.
