Vietnam Airlines Selects Rockwell Collins

Vietnam Airlines selected a suite of Rockwell Collins avionics, including its MultiScan Threat Detection System and Multi-Mode Receiver (MMR) Global Landing System, for 36 new Airbus 321-200s. Deliveries will begin in 2011 and continue through 2014.

Vietnam Airlines also selected the following sensors and collision avoidance equipment from Rockwell Collins: ADF-900 Automatic Direction Finder, DME-900 Distance Measuring Equipment, HFS-900D High Speed Data Radio, LRA-900 Low-range Radio Altimeter, VHF-2100 Very High Frequency Transceiver, RAA-700 Radio Altimeter Antenna, CPL-920D Coupling Unit, VOR-900 VHF Omnidirectional Radio, TPR-901 Mode S Transponder, and TTR-921 Traffic Collision Avoidance System (TCAS II).
