Delta TechOps signed a three-year, multimillion dollar contract with Danish airline Cimber Sterling to provide time and materials services for 11 CFM56-7B engines and Honeywell GTCP131-9B auxiliary power units (APU) for the airline’s fleet.

“Delta TechOps offers the experience, technical expertise and flexibility we need,” Jorgensen said. “As a smaller operator, an MRO’s ability to pick up and support tasks outside our core businesses is critical. Delta TechOps’ broad range of services along with a huge network and complete support capabilities provide enormous value.”

Cimber Sterling, which provides flights to destinations throughout Europe and the Middle East as well as in Scandinavia and Denmark, operates a fleet of 28 large and small aircraft. The contract covers time and materials services for more than one-third of the fleet’s engines.
