Honeywell signed a 10-year integrated service agreement for support of ANA’s 50 Boeing 787s, to be delivered later this year or early 2011.

Honeywell will provide access to spares, logistics and repair services for the Honeywell equipment installed on the B787, including flight control electronics, navigation radios, crew information system and interior and exterior lighting. A total of 50 aircraft are expected to be delivered by 2016. The contract covers program services for 29 part numbers for a term of 10 years.

“ANA benefits from a single integrated program with one agreement and predictable monthly payments to provide global asset availability for the entire suite of Honeywell products on the B787,” said Pak Chin, Honeywell Aerospace vice president of airlines, Asia Pacific. “ANA can focus on operating the aircraft leaving the management of spares, logistics and repairs to Honeywell. ANA avoids upfront investment costs of purchasing spares, minimizes administration expenses, and improves dispatch reliability.”
