Austrian Airlines will use Lufthansa Systems’ Lido/RouteManual navigation charts and will implement the electronic version, Lido/eRouteManual for flight preparation, under a five-year contract announced Tuesday. The contract also covers the use of the Lido/FMS (flight management system) data.

Lido/RouteManual and Lido/eRouteManual charts are generated directly from the Lido navigation database which contains worldwide geographical and aeronautical data. The charts include graphical representations of take-off and landing procedures as well as geographic information such as color-coded terrain features and rivers. The design and content are equivalent in both the paper and the electronic version.
