Lufthansa Systems Names New CEO

Lufthansa Systems named Stefan Hansen its new CEO, succeeding Wolfgang F. W. Gohde, who has left the company, the company announced Thursday.

Hansen has been with Lufthansa Systems since 1999, most recently heading the Infrastructure Services division. In 2001, he became managing director of the subsidiary Lufthansa Systems Infratec GmbH and from 2004 also managed Lufthansa Systems Network GmbH. Hansen was appointed managing director of EDS Operations Services GmbH in 2006 and later also of EDS Business Solutions GmbH. During that time, he was responsible for Service Delivery to more than 300 outsourcing customers in Northern and Central Europe. Earlier in his carrier, he worked for Siemens, Unilever and Körber.
