Honeywell Names Aerospace Chief in India

Honeywell on Tuesday announced the appointment of Pritam Bhavnani as president of Honeywell Aerospace in India. The move reenforces the company’s committment the region, Honeywell said.

Pritam, who most recently was vice president of customer and product support, will relocate from Honeywell Aerospace’s offices in Phoenix to Gurgaon, India. In his new role, Pritam will provide direction to the various operations and driving Honeywell initiatives and strategies for aerospace and defense. Over the last five years, Honeywell’s Aerospace business in India has been growing rapidly, driven by strong capabilities in new technologies that are committed towards India’s safety and security, Honeywell said.

“India is a very strategic and significant growth pillar for Honeywell and is at the heart of our globalization strategy. Pritam’s rich experience in developing and executing international strategies including India, combined with his entrepreneurial flair and strong business acumen makes him a great choice to help Honeywell apply capabilities to the needs of the India aerospace and defense market,” said Anil P. Gupta, president & country manager, Honeywell India.
