navAero, based in Chicago, was awarded a FAA supplemental type certificate (STC) for the t•BagC22 Class 2 EFB STC. This STC, the 11th for the system, was awarded for the B727-100/200, navAero said.

The B727 STC was architected with dual t•BagC22 Class 2 EFB systems. The certification architecture also includes Ethernet cross-connectivity between the dual independent EFB systems for data sharing. The installation provisions also includes an accessible Ethernet port on the flightdeck that allows connectivity of portable Ethernet-enabled devices such as a laptop computer or a printer to the EFB system.
