Raytheon Conducts Flight Tests For DCGS

Raytheon said Monday it established initial operational capability and conducted flight tests for a communications component for the U.S. Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS). The company said the intercom communications system, Crew Communications (Crew Comm), modernizes peer-to-peer collaboration between intelligence operators and is designed to support enterprisewide execution of intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions. The system, when completed later this year, will use Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) will connect more than 500 pilots, operators and analysts.
