Gregory Yeldon was named president of Esterline CMC Electronics, a job he’s had on an interim basis since November. Parent company Esterline Corp. made the announcement Wednesday. Yeldon has more than 23 years of operational experience in the aerospace sector, including 14 years as CMC’s vice president and chief financial officer. His first position with the company was corporate comptroller in 1995. Prior to joining CMC, Yeldon held positions at Leigh Instruments and Micronav International. “Greg’s in-depth business acumen and knowledge of CMC Electronics products, markets, customers and employees make him particularly well suited to provide continuity and leadership at the helm of Esterline CMC Electronics,” said Esterline CEO Robert W. Cremin.
