Air Italy selected navAero’s t-BagC22 computer and display systems as the Class 2 EFB flight deck hardware for its B737, B757 and B767 fleets. Deployment on the Air Italy fleets will start this year. Flying trials are scheduled to commence in the second quarter, and it is anticipated these fleets will be fully deployed and operational by the end of 2009, the company said. Dual networked installations of the navAero tï‚–BagC22 hardware systems – featuring built-in HSDPA/UMTS/GRPS/EDGE connectivity – will be installed on the B737 300/700, B757-200 and  B767-200/300 flight decks. The navAero EFB configuration includes the latest Intel Core 2 Duoprocessor and ARINC429 connection. Certification for these airframes is being executed by navAero.
