Raytheon Wins Navy Contract

Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems won a $8.7 million contract with the U.S. Navy to provide intermediate "I" level support equipment used for the AN/AQS-22 Airborne Low Frequency Sonar (ALFS), including reeling machine test benches, reeling machines and reel and cable assemblies. This equipment will support a variety of maintenance and testing tasks on the ALFS system aboard the MH-60R. Work will be performed in Johnstown, Pa., and Portsmouth, R.I., and is expected to be completed in January 2011.
