L-3 Communications was awarded a $9.6 million contract modification from the U.S. Navy to exercise an option for training support and up to 2,000 flight instructor hours on a Boeing 737 next-generation aircraft to serve as an E-6B in-flight trainer. Work will be performed at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma City, Okla., and is expected to be completed in October 2009.
