CMC Electronics, Montreal, was selected by Airbus Transport International (ATI) to supply its IntegriFlight CMA-5024 GPS landing system sensor for its fleet of five A300-600ST Beluga transport aircraft. ATI has previously selected CMC Electronics’ CMA-9000 flight management system (FMS) for the retrofit of its A300-600ST fleet. The CMA-5024 provides satellite based augmentation system (SBAS)/wide area augmentation system (WAAS) GPS navigation capability from departure to non-precision approach that will comply with published communications, navigation, surveillance/air traffic management (CNS/ATM) navigational mandates and growth provisions, CMC said.
