Tiger Airways Selects Honeywell Avionics

Tiger Airways, based in Singapore, selected an avionics suite from Honeywell for the Airbus A320s it has on order. Tiger Airways, whose existing fleet of A320 is already equipped with Honeywell avionics equipment, will receive eight A320 aircraft between 2008 and 2010. The avionics suite to be provided includes Honeywell’s RDR-4B weather radar; Quantum Line Comm Nav Surveillance; high-frequency radio; Traffic Collision Avoidance System; Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System; Solid State Flight Data Recorder; Solid State Cockpit Voice Recorder; Flight Data Acquisition and Management System; Aircraft Communication Addressing and Reporting System and Emergency Locator Transmitter.
