Rockwell Collins announced its dPAVES in-flight entertainment (IFE) system is now an option on Airbus Single Aisle Program. The company also said U.K. low-fare carrier easyJet in June added an Airbus A321 equipped with the IFE system into its service. The announcements were made in Long Beach, Calif., at this week’s World Airline Entertainment Association convention. The dPAVES system will be included in Airbus’ Buyer Furnished Equipment Catalog as an IFE system solution option for Single Aisle Programs, Rockwell Collins said. For easyJet, the dPAVES system includes 10-inch retractable LCD displays, and Rockwell Collins’ Airshow 4200 Moving Map product has been integrated into the system server. The system will also be installed on up to 13 additional easyJet aircraft. For related news
