Xiamen Airlines Selects Rockwell Collins

Rockwell Collins will provide a suite of avionics for 12 Boeing 737NGs for Xiamen Airlines. The deal also includes an option for an additional 25 aircraft. Delivery begins in 2009 and continues through 2013. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The avionics selected include the WXR-2100 MultiScan Hazard Detection System, Automatic Direction Finder ADF-900, Direction Finding Antenna DFA-901, Distance Measuring Equipment DME-900, Data Radio HFS-900D, Coupling Unit CPL-920D, GPS Landing Unit GLU-925, Passenger Address Unit PAU-700, Low-range Radio Altimeter LRA-900,Very High Frequency Transceiver VHF-920, VHF Omnidirectional Range/Marker Beacon Receiver VOR-900, Mode-S transponder and the Traffic Alert Collision Avoidance System.
