Honeywell’s corporate flight department applied to FAA for authorization to perform Required Navigation Performance Special Aircraft and Aircrew Authorization Required (RNP SAAAR) operations on the company’s PlaneView equipped Gulfstream G450 and G550 aircraft. Last year, Honeywell received RNP SAAAR consultancy designation from FAA, enabling it to offer business jet operators services to speed authorization from FAA to perform RNP SAAAR procedures. The PlaneView avionics suite is on G350, G450, G500 and G550 aircraft, and includes four 10- by 13-inch LCDs. For related news
