Teledyne Controls, El Segundo, Calif., will supply Philippine Airlines with its AirFASE system, a flight data monitoring system jointly developed by Teledyne Controls and Airbus. Financial terms were not disclosed. AirFASE will be used by Philippine Airlines to monitor its fleet of A319, A320, A330, A340 and B747-400 aircraft. Teledyne said the AirFASE system allows operators to evaluate flight operations trends, identify risk precursors and take early preventive and corrective actions. The system contains a Flight Analysis Program that reconstructs the flight, compares actual data with recommended operational limits and highlights abnormal events and trends. For related news
