CAE Receives $59 Million in Orders

CAE, Montreal, signed a contract for five full-flight simulators (FFS) and associated training devices for Lufthansa Flight Training, Flight Training Finance, Swiss Aviation Training and the Zhuhai Flight Training Centre in China. The contracts are valued at more than $59 million at list prices. Lufthansa Flight Training ordered a CAE 7000 Series Boeing 777-200 long range freighter FFS, which will be delivered in 2009 to its training center in Berlin, Germany. CAE sold a CAE 7000 Series Boeing 757 FFS to Flight Training Finance, a simulator leasing company. The simulator will be delivered in 2009. CAE sold a CAE 7000 Series Embraer 190 FFS to Swiss Aviation Training, a wholly owned subsidiary of Swiss International Airlines. The FFS will be delivered later this year. Also, CAE has received an order for two CAE 5000 Series A320 FFSs from Zhuhai Flight Training Centre, a joint venture between China Southern Airlines and CAE. Deliveries will begin later this year.
