CMC to Supply FMS for Singapore Pilatus PC-21

CMC Electronics will supply its CMA-9000 Flight Management System (FMS) to Pilatus Aircraft Ltd. as a standard fit on the fleet of Pilatus PC-21 turboprop trainer aircraft selected by the Republic of Singapore Air Force. CMC Electronics, based in Montreal, will also supply its SparrowHawk Head Up Display integrated with a HUD Symbol Generator, and a Video Display Unit for the rear cockpit of the PC-21. The single unit CMA-9000 has civil certified multi-sensor GPS, INS and DME navigation capabilities and communication functions such as Datalink. CMC said it conforms to the ARINC 739 multifunction control display unit standard, making it suitable as a display and control unit for other systems such as ACARS, ACMS and Satcom.
