AirBaltic, Latvia’s national airline, selected U.K.-based AD Aerospace Ltd., to provide video based cockpit security systems for Boeing 737 and 757 commercial airliners. The company said the CabinVu-123 Cockpit Door Monitoring Systems will enhance pilots’ situational awareness with a clear view of any activity outside the cockpit door and in the adjacent galleys. Financial terms were not disclosed. CabinVu-123 provides pilots with a forward-looking view of the area outside the cockpit door and in the adjacent galleys. A series of cameras link to either one or two monitors and controllers in the cockpit set forward of the pilots.
