Honeywell Wins Air Force Pact

Honeywell won a $16.2 million contract modification with the U.S. Air Force to supply 199 embedded GPS/INS (EGI) units for the A-10, F-16, UH-60 and CH-47F platforms, and 9 EGI mounts for the MH-6 and MH-47 platforms. No timeline was given for delivery of the systems. Honeywell said the EGI, which is fielded for use on tactical aircraft, transports and military helicopters, and its variants are in service on more than 70 airplane types for more than 30 nations.
