Northrop, Lockheed Win Apache Contract

The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) awarded a Lockheed Martin-Northrop Grumman joint venture a $43.4 million contract for Life Cycle Contractor Support for the AH-64D Apache Longbow helicopter Fire Control Radar (FCR) system. The joint venture company, the Longbow Limited Liability Company (LBL), will provide field technical support, logistics support and repairs for fielded U.S. Army radar systems on the Apache. LBL will provide spare parts at the unit level to maintain Apache operational readiness.
