Rockwell Collins received certification for its cabin management system on Dassault Aviation Falcon aircraft, the company said. Cedar Rapids, Iowa-based Rockwell Collins said its system is the first all-digital cabin management system available on Dassault’s Falcon aircraft. The system is currently standard on the F7X and F900EX/DX and offered on the F2000EX/DX/LX. The system incorporates high-speed digital backbone technology, supporting high quality audio/video and digital data content. Passengers can easily access all cabin control, entertainment and global office features through a touch screen passenger control unit. Users can manage cabin temperature and lighting, and control multiple audio and video sources by utilizing an advanced human-machine interface (HMI) designed for intuitive interaction.
