Landmark Aviation said it completed the installation of a Honeywell Primus Epic CDS/R (Control Display System/Retrofit) avionics system on a Gulfstream III.Landmark, Tempe, Ariz., said the installation took place at its Springfield, Ill., facility. The avionics package included Honeywell’s Mark VII Class A TAWS (Terrain Awareness & Warning System) with RAAS (Runway Awareness & Advisory System). Landmark said flight data is displayed on three large flat-panel LCDs that consolidate primary flight data, weather, TCAS and TAWS functions. Through its aural advisory system, the Honeywell RAAS system enhances situational awareness in an airport environment, including taxiing and landing operations.
