Gallium Opens New Office

Gallium Visual Systems opened a new sales and engineering office in Huntsville, Ala., a move the company says will be it closer to a key customer base. Gallium, which has offices in San Diego and Washington, D.C., said the 2,700-square-foot office officially opened Jan. 17. Gallium customers include Boeing, Raytheon, Lockheed Martin and Westar. Gallium, an operational division of Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace, makes a line of commercial off-the-shelf software called InterMAPhics, which it says is used operationally in more than 100 air traffic control and defense systems. Some current operational sites include Bosnia, Canada, China, Germany, Europe, Israel, Korea, Singapore, Switzerland and the United States.
